Description

Natural jute tones meet a muted olive green border, giving this handwoven jute rug an earthy, understated character. The warm, slightly uneven weave has the relaxed charm of natural fibres, framed by deep green bands and loose fringed ends. Olive brings a quiet botanical touch to the neutral base, adding just enough colour to feel distinctive while keeping the overall look calm and grounded.

At 60 × 90 cm (excluding fringe), this small jute rug fits beside a bed, inside an entrance or near a kitchen coffee corner. Handwoven in a no-glue flatweave from 85% jute and 15% cotton-linen, it retains jute's dry, tactile texture with a slightly gentler feel against bare feet than a pure jute weave. The fringes measure approximately 5 cm.

This jute-rich blend gives you the dry, tactile texture people like about jute, softened slightly so it feels a bit kinder underfoot than 100% jute and sits more easily in everyday spaces. The look stays warm, structured and natural, bringing texture to the floor without a busy pattern.

Jute gives the weave its hard-wearing character, while the softer blend takes the edge off the rougher feel pure jute can sometimes have. Best for dry indoor areas.
